Mission Statement
The Animal Healing Project (TAHP) is a Christian ministry dedicated to realizing justice and mercy for all God’s created beings, human and non-human, and the Garden that we share.
Through service, advocacy and education, TAHP seeks to honor God, follow Christ and care for all whom he loves.
TAHP's four areas of focus and their goals are:
• Healing prayer:
- Offering healing prayer for animals who are ill, injured, or dying
- Offering training and conferences in healing prayer for animals
- Sponsoring animal healing mission trips
- Veterinary Hospice:
- Advocating for the continued development and availability of veterinary hospice care in the U.S
- Providing resources for those seeking veterinary hospice care
- Grief/Loss Support:
- Offering grief/loss support groups
- Offering periodic memorial liturgies
- Offering individual funeral/burial rites, interment and graveside prayer services
- Plant-Based Diets:
- Providing education about the spiritual, ethical and social justice implications of a plant-based diet
