Russell, RN, BS</dc:creator><pubDate>Sun, 12 Oct 2008 16:00:45 +0000</pubDate><link>http://www.theanimalhealingproject.org/blog/2008/10/12/tahp-kick-off-celebration-a-success.html</link><guid isPermaLink="false">243933:2439179:2417672</guid><description><![CDATA[<p>The inauguration celebration for The Animal Healing Project was a rousing success!&nbsp; It was well-attended and a good time was had by all.&nbsp; It was very lively, given the 35 animals--most very social dogs--in attendance so the healing prayer part, which was supposed to happen at the end, didn't really go as planned, but that's okay.&nbsp; It ended up being blessings given on the spot by the parish priest while I was unexpectedly photographed for a newspaper article, rather than quiet stations in the chapel.&nbsp; It was a good learning experience and I've already put to use some of the take-aways in considering how to move forward with planning the best way to make healing prayer available to animals in a public setting.&nbsp; I was grateful to be able to participate in Nativity's annual blessing service in this unique way and to give the message at the service.&nbsp; You can read the text of the sermon <a href="http://www.theanimalhealingproject.org/storage/Sermon%20v4%20web%20posting%2010-05-08.doc">here</a>.<br></p>]]></description><wfw:commentRss>http://www.theanimalhealingproject.org/blog/rss-comments-entry-2417672.xml</wfw:commentRss></item><item><title>TAHP on NOS</title><dc:creator>Tracie L.
